A needlework picture

Early 20th century, in the style of an 18th century French needlework panel.

Worked in wool and silk in tent stitch and petit point, with a couple dancing to the music of a pipe played by one of two attendants. Mounted on a stretcher.

70.5cm (27¾”) high and 58cm (22¾”) wide.
